- Abstract
- This research critically investigates the relatively new phenomena of personal branding. A multi-disciplinary literature review was conducted in order to formulate hypotheses subject to empirical testing. In order to determine the relevance of personal branding to Regents students, and to what extent Regents students engage in personal branding, a questionnaire was distributed via e-mail to 70 events students selected through a nonprobability sampling technique and a convenience sampling approach. Findings were analyzed through descriptive statistics. The findings revealed that the majority of Regents events students were unaware of the concept of personal branding and did not manage strategically their online professional presence.
