- Abstract
- Nowadays Small Medium Enterprises face several problems in relation to e-commerce and their competitors (mainly larger companies with greater economies of scales and financial resources). However, SMEs have a great potential in the market if only they would face their weaknesses and issues. Therefore, in this dissertation the author will identify the most central issues encountered by Spanish and Italian SMEs and will also conduct a more precise investigation via primary research interviewing nine SMEs companies (including five Spanish and four Italian companies) with the aim of providing recommendations and opportunities in the e-commerce market for such companies which are mainly specialised in B2C and more in particular in clothing and accessories.
