This research analyzes the beneficial aspects of activity of the credit unions in Ukraine and evaluates the use of the credit unions for entrepreneurs as a source of financial resources.
To analyze the activity of the credit union the author used a case study research of 3 particular cases that vividly represent the reality and highlight the peculiarities of the activity of the credit union which is essentially important for entrepreneurs.
The results show that credit union are more beneficial for entrepreneurs than banks due to their unique system of management, microcredit programs, relationship pricing strategies and non-profitability which means that their main aim is the improvement of welfare of the members of the union. - Subject
