An image of 2 wooden beehives situated in the University grounds. The beehive in the foreground is numbered 82 and has a QR code linking to the beetight web application which helps track and manage hives.

From the exhibition held at the event on 29 June 2013 to install the University's first Chancellor and to award honorary fellowships.

The University has its own hives and Regent's Park Honey is produced from them. The gardens also contribute produce of more than twenty types that are used in the University's catering. One of the trees in the grounds is recognised as one of the 'Great Trees of London', a majestic plane tree that is probably the oldest in London, attesting to the attention that it has received.
