Achieving the award of Taught Degree Awarding Powers (TDAP) is a testament to the maturity of an institution, the quality of its staff, its experience and a demonstration of the quality of every aspect of its operations. Regent's was only the sixth private institution to gain this status.

Abstract
A copy of a letter sent by Christopher Berry from the Privy Council Office to Ian Mehrtens, Chair of Trustees at Regent's College. It reads: "I am pleased to enclose an Order signifying the Privy Council's approval of Regent's College's application for Taught Degree Awarding Powers for a fixed six-year term beginning on 1st September 2012 and expiring on 31st August 2018."
